… blogging from a virtual world
I was so excited when Terri Dreadlow of Has Been sent out a notice declaring that she had released her Demure Lingerie in darker colours. I blogged the original lighter colours back in April.
What I really love about these sets is that you can interchange the colours within each set and also interchange pieces between each set as well to make multiple different combinations. And at 50L for one colour per set, its incredibly good value! (I’m pretty certain this is for a limited time – so hurry!)
I had hoped to be posting my Hair Fair pics sooner than this but full time work, a formal ball & panicking over what to wear, buying another ball gown in addition the the one I was originally going to wear, getting my hair done (oh and sneaking in a new pair of boots into the house as well SHHHHHHH DON’T TELL!) and all the usual real life things that you all know never end.
But I must admit I have good timing! Logging in to see that the latest Hair Fair competition has been announced & wow how AWESOME are these prizes? If you’re a budding photographer and have thought of starting your own blog, this contest gives you some great tools to get started with!
I entered another competition on Saturday, this time for the Blacklace Model competition! I had major issues leading up to the cutoff date for submissions (18th June) as I had dramas with Viewer 2 (and Firestorm) crashing on me every time I tried taking photos with Shadows rendered. If you’re on my friends list you would have seen me bouncing in and out of SL easily 20 times or more. It got to the stage I was so disheartened that I thought I wasn’t going to be able to enter, even though I really really wanted to! 😦
Its been long time between drinks, or posts as the case really and RL is completely to blame, of course. I have a week off this week so watch this space for a few more posts to come about.
I met Gemini Galatea the Manager of Blacklace on 2ndHub recently. Its one of the things I love about Social media – it gives you an opportunity to cross paths and make new friends! And thats how this post came about!
